Jubilanté J. Cutting, L.L.B (Dist.), L.EC is the Managing and Primary Attorney-at-Law of Cutting Law, after establishing the practice in 2022. Her current focus within the practice encompasses Corporate and Commercial Law, Civil Litigation and Practice, Intellectual Property Law related to Trademarks and Creator Contracts, Business Investment Contracts, Energy Law, Real Estate Conveyancing and Rental Agreements, as well as Wills & Probate.

Jubilanté completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree with Distinction at the University of Guyana, Turkeyen Campus in 2018, achieving the second-highest position among her peers. Subsequently, she pursued her legal education at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago, obtaining a Legal Education Certificate to practice law in the Commonwealth Caribbean in 2020. During her time at the Hugh Wooding Law School, Ms. Cutting specialized in the Energy Law Clinic and undertook an additional course in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She was admitted to the Guyana Bar in November 2020 and the Trinidad and Tobago Bar in November 2024.

Ms Cutting is widely recognized for her multifaceted nature. She is the founder of a transformative nonprofit in Guyana and continually seeks opportunities to broaden her knowledge and perspectives. Following her Bar admission, Jubilanté specialized in offering drafting and advisory services in Commercial and Corporate Law, as well as Civil Litigation involving contracts, family, and employment disputes. She provided written advice on various employment-related legislation, including matters of relocation, NIS, overtime, holidays, wrongful dismissal, and privacy (during the COVID-19 pandemic). Furthermore, she gained exposure to NIS litigation, tax advisory, defamation, and garnishment proceedings. A pivotal point in her career was her involvement in a public interest energy litigation case. Beyond her work in law firms in Guyana, Jubilanté has also served as a Foreign Attorney and Client Manager for a U.S. Law Firm specializing in Intellectual Property Law, particularly in the areas of global trademarks, copyrights, and patents.

Academically, Ms Cutting is currently engaged in an advanced course of study at the University of the West Indies, focused on attaining a Master of Science in Food Security. This field of study holds significant relevance to Caribbean economies and policy in the 21st Century.
